We invite you to participate in the poster session, an excellent opportunity to showcase research results, ongoing projects, and the latest scientific developments. We particularly welcome submissions related to new technologies, new materials, circular economy, recycling and secondary raw materials, and new management models.
A free event dedicated to fostering collaboration between science, industry, and startups, is taking place alongside EUIndTech2025 on June 2-3, 2025. We invite researchers, entrepreneurs, and business representatives to present and promote: implemented projects, innovative product solutions, and business process innovations.

Towards highly efficient and sustainable energy use in European industries – Best practices from SET Plan IWG Industry’s stakeholders at national and European level
It will take place on 2 June 2025, 14:30 – 18:00 in Kraków, Poland as a satellite event of EUIndTech 2025, the EU flagship conference on industrial technologies and materials for sustainable Europe. Address: Auditorium Maximum, Krupnicza 33, 31-123 Kraków.

The Annual event is organised with the support of SET-IndEU within the SET Plan framework and under the scope of the Polish Presidency Semester. It will present and discuss best practices from SET Plan IWG-Industry’s stakeholders at national and European levels and will entail two sessions. The first will focus on Electrification and flexibility in industrial process, the second on Circularity and CCUS.
It will bring together several projects focusing on industrial energy systems, covering topics such as thermal storage, high-temperature steam, carbon capture, energy integration, waste heat recovery, and industrial heat pumps for enhanced flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability in energy intensive industries.
The IWG-Industry and SET-IndEU will be present at EUIndTech 2025 with a shared booth with other A.SPIRE projects.

Updates in integrated environmental permitting requirements. This event will focus on directives that mandate the implementation of management systems, with particular emphasis on the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED2), which directly affects companies operating under integrated environmental permits.
The seminar is organized by the Polish Forum of Environmental Management and will be held under the patronage of, and in cooperation with, the General Directorate for Environmental Protection. The preliminary agenda includes:
Key aspects of the IED2 directive and their impact on environmental management systems.
The new EU Energy Efficiency Directive and its implications for industrial organizations and public sector entities.
Environmental management systems as a tool to support ESG reporting – aligning standards with ESRS, including practical examples.
Case Study – Practical implementation of environmental management system (EMS) elements based on IED2 requirements.
EMAS – introduction, implementation steps, and practical guidance for companies subject to IED2 obligations.
Proposal for the transposition of the IED2 directive to the Polish legal system.
Plastics Industry Solutions for Sustainable and Competitive Europe is a site event organized by Plastics Europe Polska to showcase the engagement of the plastics sector and its progress towards strong, resilient and circular future of the European industry. SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY IN HORIZON EUROPE – Discover new opportunities with the Industry Contact Point & European Partnerships (INSE’2025) is the special edition of “Sustainable Economy in Horizon Europe. International matchmaking and networking” event.
It will take place on 3 June 2025 from 10:30 to 13:00.
As in the previous editions, INSE’2025 aims to provide insights into the latest opportunities under the Horizon Europe in the field of sustainable economy and advanced materials.
It is a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of EU funding, explore new partnership prospects, and support the green and digital transformation of European industry.

EU Industry Days is a flagship annual event in Europe, focusing on key discussions on industrial policy, connecting industry leaders and strengthening the knowledge base of European industry. EU Industry Days 2025 will take place on 5-6 June 2025 in Rzeszów, Poland, with the support of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. It is one of the flagship events of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The 5th European Lightweighting Network (ELN) conference is an opportunity for all participants to be inspired by best practices in other EU countries and industries and to become part of the ELN network and open cooperation platforms. The 5th ELN conference will be held at the Krakow Institute of Technology on 4-5 June under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the European Council.
The International Congress of Copper Mining and Metallurgy is organized by the Association of Mining Engineers and Technicians, Lubin Branch, the Employers’ Association of Polish Copper and the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Non-Ferrous Metals (at the Legnica and Głogów HM). The event will be an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge that will allow for the identification of the most important problems and challenges facing copper producers and for determining the conditions for their effective functioning in the global economy.
