Anna Mlost serves as the Director of the Regional Development Department at the Marshal Office of the Małopolska Region. She is an economist and management expert, holding degrees from the AGH University of Science and Technology, the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and the University of Public Administration in Hof. For over 20 years, she has been engaged in regional public administration, specializing in regional development policy and the effective utilization of European Union funds.
Her professional interests focus on socio-economic development, inter-institutional cooperation mechanisms, the circular economy, the Just Transition Fund, and urban regeneration processes. A long-time advocate for strengthening the collaboration between science and business in the Małopolska Region, she oversees the implementation of the SPIN – Małopolska Knowledge Transfer Centres, a flagship partnership project. She is also a co-author of the “Małopolska 2030” Regional Development Strategy.
