Career Summary        

• Daniel brings 30+ years of experience in system development, project management, and senior IT leadership, with the past 18 years focused on product authentication, traceability, and supply chain visibility. He has led strategy and growth at both multinationals and startups, particularly at the intersection of technology and regulation.
• Driven by a passion for sustainability, Daniel is focused on applying his deep expertise in track and trace and end-to-end traceability to support the development and implementation of Digital Product Passports (DPPs). He sees DPPs as a vital enabler of the circular economy, helping businesses enhance product sustainability, regulatory compliance, and material transparency across complex supply chains.
• He began his career at Electronic Data Systems as a Systems Engineer, building skills in coding, system design, and development. This was followed by roles in IT Development at Norwich Union Healthcare and IT consulting in the insurance sector with Winchester White.
• At BAT, Daniel progressed through senior IT roles, including Group PMO and Programme Manager. He led the delivery of a global SAP HR template rolled out in Brazil and South Africa.
• He transitioned to BAT’s Operations, leading the the group’s track and trace programme with a 50+ person team. He also represented BAT in the Digital Coding and Tracking Association, shaping industry-wide track and trace standards.

• In recent years, Daniel contributed to two startups, leading go-to-market strategy, building sales, project management and support teams, and securing multi-million Euro contracts and new market entries.
