Dr. Anna Ogar
She is currently the CEO of Insignes Labs and Microbe Plus – biotechnology startups recognized for their innovation in the agricultural sector. She was among the five finalists of the international Chivas Venture competition (USA) and won the Startup of the Year title at the Emerging Europe Awards in London.

Her technology was awarded in the Future Now Awards (CEE) competition. She completed international doctoral studies at the Jagiellonian University, Freie Universität Berlin and Örebro University. She is the winner of prestigious awards, including scholarships from the Foundation for Polish Science and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. She also completed the IGNITE and ENTERPRISERS business programs at Cambridge Judge Business School.

Microbe Plus won the EIT Food Innovation Prize Poland and took 2nd place in the European finals. Dr. Ogar participated in the EIT Food Accelerator Network program in cooperation with the University of Reading and the University of Cambridge. Her companies cooperate, among others. from Cambridge Learning Gateway (UK), KAUST (Saudi Arabia) and MassChallenge (Switzerland).
