Official discussions began on Monday, but already on Sunday, some guests had the opportunity to explore the Auditorium Maximum and enjoy attractions prepared by the organizers. Among them were:
PIXELATA Installation
This unique piece of art, made from aluminum cans, decorates the conference reception area. The cans form an image that becomes visible only from a distance, so it’s worth climbing the stairs to view the installation from above. The project was created to promote recycling and the idea of a circular economy, showing that every can have a second life. The initiative is part of the Every Can Counts program, which encourages people to collect and properly sort their used cans—especially outside the home. The project emphasizes that aluminum is a material that can be recycled endlessly without losing quality. PIXELATA is presented at the conference in partnership with the CANPACK Group.
Smoking Drinks by Cracow University of Technology
Students from the Cracow University of Technology operated a drink bar where they served “smoking” beverages. The recipe for this effect is quite simple—just add a portion of dry ice to the drinks. Thanks to the sublimation process, dry ice doesn’t become liquid. Instead, it sublimates at –78°C and evaporates without leaving any residue.
Wastes Service Group
This company provides comprehensive waste management services to its partners, with a strong focus on metal recovery and recycling—especially the recycling of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries and waste from electrical and electronic equipment. These efforts play a key role in sustainable resource management and achieving circular economy goals.
Electric Vehicle Showcase
In front of the Auditorium Maximum building, visitors can see a model of an electric-powered vehicle. This two-seater quadricycle can reach a maximum speed of 45 km/h and has a range of up to 70 km on a single charge.
