Summary of the Second Day of EUIndTech2025

The second and final day of the in-person EUIndTech2025 conference was marked by a series of official and informal meetings as well as panel discussions.

Matchmaking and pitching sessions, organised by the NCP4Industry network (National Contact Points for Cluster 4 – Industry) in collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network, attracted over 140 participants. These networking sessions facilitated numerous connections, many of which have the potential to evolve into business or project collaborations in the fields of industrial technologies, Innovation 5.0, climate neutrality, and artificial intelligence.

Thematic sessions covered a broad range of topics, including eco-innovation, space-related innovation, artificial intelligence, advanced materials, circular manufacturing, and best practices in the utilisation of European funds for innovative projects.

Panel discussions focused on the development of the European community by driving innovation processes and strengthening strategic sectors that underpin citizens’ wellbeing and security. Particular attention was given to the role of startups and SMEs in building a competitive European economy.

Speakers shared their experiences in operating within innovation-driven environments and coping with growing competitive pressure—both from global trends and large technology corporations.

One of the discussions addressed effective planning and implementation of EU co-funded projects in the domains of scientific, economic, and social development. Speakers also highlighted the importance of sustaining the pace of innovation amid evolving EU economic and social priorities.
