In case of obtaining data from sources other than the data subject
Pursuant to Article 14 (1)-(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27.04.2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) hereinafter referred to as GDPR – you are informed that:
I. Personal Data Controller

III. Source of obtaining personal data
Your personal data has been provided by the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences for the purpose of organization of the conference entitled EUIndTech2025 – Industrial Technologies and Materials for a Sustainable Europe.
IV. Data processing purposes and legal basis for processing
The Administrator will process your data in order to implement the project entitled EUIndTech2025 – Industrial technologies and materials for a sustainable Europe. The basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(e) of the RODO (performance of a task carried out in the public interest consisting in the implementation of the provincial development policy in connection with Article 11(2) and Article 14 of the Act on Provincial Self-Government and Council Regulation (EU) 2021/2085 of November 19, 2021 establishing Joint Undertakings under the Horizon Europe Program.
V. Categories of personal data
The administrator will process the following categories of your personal data (obtained from the source indicated above): first name, last name, place of work, function/position, contact telephone number, email address, photographic image.
V. Data storage period
Your personal data will be stored for a period of time:
- necessary for the purpose of processing indicated above,
- for the period indicated by the Horizon Europe Managing Authority as necessary to maintain the eligibility of expenditures and in accordance with the archival category indicated in the Uniform File Classification System for provincial self-government bodies and marshal offices (constituting Attachment No. 4 to the current Regulation of the Prime Minister on the Clerical Instruction, Uniform File Classification System and the Instruction on the Organization and Scope of Operation of Company Archives) and the Act of July 14, 1983 on National Archival Resources and Archives.
VI. Rights of data subjects
During the processing of your personal data, you have the opportunity to exercise the rights set forth in Articles 15 – 21 of the GDPR, in accordance with the principles set forth in these provisions.
VII. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You may file a complaint to the supervisory authority, which in Poland is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
VIII. Recipients of data
Your personal data may be disclosed to entities authorized by law. In addition, your personal data may also be disclosed to processors in connection with the performance of contracts under which they have been entrusted with the processing of personal data (e.g. IT service providers). Your personal data in the form of image may be disclosed to an unlimited number of recipients, through the website www.indtech2025.eu.
IX. Information on automated processing of personal data
Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
