Professor Tadeusz Uhl graduated from AGH University of Krakow in 1980 and has held the position of professor since 1996. He spent eight years working in international research institutions. His scientific interests include mechatronics, robotics, and space technologies.
He is the author of over 1,000 scientific publications and has supervised 56 defended doctoral theses and over 100 master’s theses. He has coordinated numerous European research projects, and currently leads the Polish team in the UNIVERSEH – European Space University initiative. He holds 65 national and international patents. From 2014 to 2017, he served as a member of the High-Level Group on Key Enabling Technologies (KET) at the European Commission.
In 2020, he was listed by Stanford University among the prestigious „World’s Top 2% Scientists”. Professor Uhl has successfully implemented cutting-edge technologies in the economy. He has founded 29 companies, several of which have grown into large enterprises. Currently, as the Dean of the Faculty of Space Technologies at AGH University of Krakow, he leads a research team working on orbital and planetary missions, including projects related to the International Space Station (ISS).
