Teresa Maria Gulotta holds a Ph.D. in “Energy and Information Technologies – Technical Physics” from the University of Palermo and is Assistant Professor of Commodity Sciences at the Department of Engineering, University of Messina. Her research focuses on sustainability, Circular Economy, and Life Cycle Thinking approaches (LCA, LCC, S-LCA), applied to various sectors including agri-food and energy. During her Ph.D., she was a visiting researcher at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, University of California, Santa Barbara. She is involved in national research projects and collaborations, and has contributed to the organization of scientific conferences. Her work aims to integrate environmental, economic, and social assessment tools to support sustainable innovation and decision-making. She is the author of numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters.
