Adrian von Mühlenen is the product owner (PO) of the digital material and product passport at BASF, where he leverages his 15+ years in R&D, business development, digital transformation, and product stewardship and his enthusiasm for technology and organizational development. 

Before, Adrian served as Strategy Director RegulatoryONE at Veeva Systems and helped actors from the manufacturing industry to identify, plan, and realize value-adding measures for digital transformation. He built on his experience as the mastermind of the digital product passport (DPP) team in Catena-X as a representative of BASF and founder of a BASF in-house startup that strived to build a digital tool to extract and validate material information from Safety Data Sheets (SDSs). Adrian holds a Ph.D. in material science and an M.Sc. in Micro Engineering from ETH Lausanne.
