DI Franz Pirker, MSc is responsible for the Business Development at AC2T research GmbH. He is responsible for the exploitation of results as well as to build up new business areas. Especially the exploitation of simulation models or SaaS Software as a Service solutions are his passion.

He studied Electrical engineering at the TU Vienna (DI) and Communication and Management at the Donau University Krems (MSc). The scientific track record includes 50+ publication in the field of simulation and modelling. He is and was active in different European platforms like EMMC, ECTRI and EARPA.

After his studies at the Vienna University of Technology, Franz Pirker spent 13 years at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, where he headed and built up the Mobility Department, among other things.

Within the OITB i-TRIBOMAT he was responsible to set up a sustainable Business Modell and to create a legal entity (Joint Venture) and the brand for the i-TRIBOMAT GmbH which serves as The European Tribology Centre and offers services via a digital platform (www.i-tribomat.eu).
