Director of Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences (MEERI PAS). Graduate of the Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection of the AGH University of Science and Technology. Since 2007, she has been employed at MEERI PAS, where she has been the Head of the Division of Applied Geochemistry and Environmental Engineering since 2016.

In the years 2021-2024, she served as Deputy Director of the Institute for Scientific Affairs and from 2024 as Acting Director of the Institute. For years, I have been dealing with the subject of waste management in the energy sector, developing sorbents for both CO2 and Hg exhaust gas purification and hydrogen storage. She is the author and co-author of over 80 scientific papers and over 25 expert opinions commissioned by business entities. She has participated in over 21 research projects, including 7 as a manager and 3 as a supervisor. For her scientific activity she was awarded many times.
