Prof. Martin Himly is biochemist and immunologist and heads the bio-nano interactions group at Paris Lodron University Salzburg (PLUS), Austria. The group has been participating in 14 EU-funded plus several national projects in the field of nanosafety, nanotechnology education, and sustainable innovation of advanced materials and chemicals. Since, 2019 Prof. Himly is the Chair of the Working Group Education of the NSC – the Network for Safety and sustainability of Chemicals and materials, former EU NanoSafety Cluster. Himly has authored ~140 peer-reviewed articles in various international scientific journals; in 02/2025 google scholar listed ~5500 citations and h-factor of 42; http://orcid.org/0000-0001-5416-085X
