Dr. Weronika Gorka-Kumik completed her Bachelor’s degree (2014) and Master’s degree (2016) in Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and earned her PhD in exact sciences in the field of Biophysics from the same institution in 2021. She joined MDPI in December 2020 as an Assistant Editor, becoming one of the first ten employees in the Krakow office. Since August 2021, she has served as a Team Leader, managing a team of over a dozen members. In July 2024, she took on the role of Journal Relations Specialist for the journal Polymers. She has represented MDPI at several international conferences and scientific events.
