  • Promote holistic approaches to eco-innovation and sustainability that avoid shifting dependencies.
  • Support cross-border cooperation and knowledge exchange to unlock Europe’s full innovation potential.
  1. Reform and Modernize Innovation Funding
  • Treat EU funding as a catalyst for systemic change, not just a transactional tool.
  • Combine short-term project grants with long-term core funding to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Tailor funding instruments to different stages of the R&D&I chain, especially in advanced materials and clean tech.
  1. Enable Circular and Sustainable Industrial Transformation
  • Develop enabling ecosystems for scaling sustainable innovations, including infrastructure, data systems, and logistics.
  • Introduce smart, harmonized regulations that reduce friction and support circularity.
  • Create market demand for circular and low-carbon solutions through public procurement and incentives.

  • Address the skills gap in digital, energy, and social transitions by investing in education and reskilling.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion, especially by attracting and retaining women in industry.

  1. Remove Barriers and Unify the European Investment Market
  • Eliminate regulatory fragmentation that discourages cross-border investment, especially in Central and Eastern Europe.
  • Introduce a unified legal framework like “EU Inc.” to facilitate startup growth and investment mobility.
  • Reduce bureaucratic burdens and increase the risk tolerance of public innovation support systems.
  • Mobilizing private capital to achieve the goals of the triple transformation – ecological, energy, and artificial intelligence.
